Abstract: The article discusses the creation of task forces by Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) to review and synthesize scientific literature that addresses impacts of climate change on conservation in agriculture. The taskforce established a framework of assumptions to evaluate practices, policies and other interventions needed to meet the challenges of climate change and examine key opportunities to affect efforts on agriculture's role in climate change such as mitigating greenhouse gases.
