Abstract (English): Almost 35 years have passed since the promulgation of the first Directive on access to environmental information: Council Directive 90/313/EEC of June 7. Since then, there have been numerous European and domestic judicial pronouncements on the application and interpretation of the regulation of this basic participatory right, which the authors have systematised in this paper. Abstract (Spanish): Han pasado casi 35 años desde la promulgación de la primera Directiva en materia de acceso a la información ambiental, la 90/313/CEE del Consejo, de 7 de junio. Desde entonces han sido numerosos los pronunciamientos judiciales europeos e internos de aplicación e interpretación de la regulación de tal derecho participatorio básico, que las autoras han sistematizado en el presente trabajo.
