Abstract (English): The article focuses on the online event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Soria titled “Sustainability that Adds Value: Certifications, Carbon Footprint, and Competitive Advantages,” aimed at companies interested in business sustainability tools. The session, scheduled for May 14, 2026, will address the role of environmental certifications, eco-labeling (such as EU Ecolabel and EMAS), and the carbon footprint, including scope 3, as mechanisms to improve competitiveness and business communication. Additionally, it will analyze their effects on internal organization, corporate reputation, customer trust, and access to financing and new business opportunities. La sesión, programada para el 14 de mayo de 2026, abordará el papel de las certificaciones ambientales, el etiquetado ecológico (como EU Ecolabel y EMAS) y la huella de carbono, incluyendo su alcance 3, como mecanismos para mejorar la competitividad y la comunicación empresarial. Además, se analizarán sus efectos en la organización interna, la reputación corporativa, la confianza del cliente y el acceso a financiación y nuevas oportunidades de negocio.
