| Abstract: |
The article presents information on electrophoretic studies of normal and malignant cells. The process involved suspending the cells in certain physiological media and then placing them in the measuring chamber of the Cytopherometer. It was observed that for each type of normal and malignant cell electrophoretic mobility exists which were subject to only small variation. However, this mobility disappeared abruptly in leukocyte precursors due to the presence of few transitional forms while it showed no difference for erythrocyte precursors and mature red cells. |
