Abstract: The article discusses the benefits of remanufacturing products and creating products with replaceable sub-components in light of the economic recession and the growing interest in sustainability. Replacing parts instead of producing new products can be financially advantageous and have market value. The recycling of carpet tile products by InterfaceFlor LLC is cited as an example.
