| Abstract: | Abstract: The effects of the components of solution for membrane casting and preparation conditions on the membrane performances are studied in this paper. Polyacrylonitrile(PAN) was used as polymer and DMAC as solvent. The ultrafiltration (UF) membranes whose cut-off of molecular weight is 150000 and flux of pure water reaches 150--200 ml/(cm[sup 2] x h) were prepared by selecting proper components of solution for membrane casting and membrane preparation conditions.
