The article reports on the increase of cyber attacks on financial services firms like Bangladesh Bank and Vietnamese bank the Tien Phong Bank, which raises concern about the financial services cybersecurity. It mentions that fraudulent of the transfer of message through Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). According to James Maude, a senior security engineer at Avecto, that the ability of attackers to use malware to fool SWIFT is worrisome. |
