Abstract: The TRNSYS software is used to study the control method of the central air-conditioning system in a university classroom building. First of all, the paper analyzes the principles and defects of the original control method of central air-conditioning in teaching building. A new type of air conditioning control scheme based on the number of classes is proposed. The program is connected with the teaching system to read the class status and the number of people in the classrooms. The TRNSYS software is used to simulate the air-conditioning system of the two kinds of control scheme. The PMV/PPD index of the new scheme is better than that of the original scheme, and the energy consumption of the new scheme is lower than that of the old scheme. The energy saving rate is 15.27%.
