| Abstract: | The article discusses a study conducted which revealed that fundamental approaches from ecology and evolution as well as technological innovations have influenced and shaped human societies today. According to the author, this study reveals how humans have rapidly transitioned from a sparsely inhabited planet of hunter-gatherers to the densely populated industrial and agricultural lifestyles of today. |
