Abstract: The article discuses issues associated with interests of plastic processors in E-efficient production. It is noted that continuous processes like extrusion, compounding and recycling save energy with direct-drive motors and with more efficient machine processes. According to Silvio Tavecchia, managing director of injection molding machine-builder Negri Bossi SpA, new injection molding machines provide various power-saving options.
