Abstract: A digital optical pyrometer with automatic correction of systematic errors for unstable and nonlinear sensor (photoreceiver) transfer function is described. Its principle of operation is based on a new optical-electronic method of redundant measurements of physical quantities. A block diagram of digital optical pyrometer is presented. Possibility of determining transmission coefficient of medium for further enhancing measurement accuracy is demonstrated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
