Abstract: The article reports on scientific findings related to the field of neuroscience. Neanderthal "mini-brains" are being grown into petri dishes using ancient DNA and gene-editing at the University of California, San Diego. Findings of a study on the implantation of human brain organoids into mice were described in an April 2018 paper in "Nature Biotechnology." Contradictory conclusions were published in two different papers about the belief that neurogenesis happens in mature brains.
