| Abstract: |
The propagation characteristics of a microstrip line printed on a YIG/GGG film are analyzed by the spectral-domain approach for arbitrary orientation of the bias magnetic field. The nonreciprocal property of the YIG film is explored by studying the characteristics of the forward and backward wave. The change in differential phase shift with frequency obtained due to arbitrary orientation of the bias magnetic field finds application in microwave signal processing. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
