| Abstract: | The magnetocaloric properties for double perovskite oxides Sr2−xGdxFeMoO6 with x = 0, 0.06, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25 under 0.05 T magnetic field have been theoretically investigated by using a phenomenological model. It has been noted that the Gd doping in this system decreases the magnetocaloric effect. However, magnetic properties in these systems are tunable for manipulating magnetocaloric refrigeration that occurs in various temperature ranges. This stimulates the Sr2−xGdxFeMoO6 samples as recommended for practical applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
