Abstract: This article focuses on productivity improvement through work sampling. Several jobsite factors have an effect on construction worker productivity such as weather conditions, work experience and skill of workers. There are many traditional models available to evaluate the effect of these factors on productivity. One such model is work sampling. This method not only provides information about the amount of time, workers spend performing productive work, it also helps identifying the site specific factors that have either a positive or adverse effect on productivity.
