Abstract: The article examines the use of the internet and social media by social activists during the COVID-19 pandemic. A Google Doc created and shared by Carlisa Johnson and containing information on the Black Lives Matter movement is described along with the creation by Fiona Lowenstein of the Patient-Led Research Collaborative support group for COVID patients and a viral song composed by Erynn Chambers.
