Abstract: The article focuses on design, management and improved work processes in computed tomography (CT). The critical pathway method/program evaluation and review technique method was applied in order to find the bottleneck route in the process. A work-flow analysis and project graph technique were applied for chest CT. The results focus on the preparation and post-processing time where the time windows found for both technicians can be used to work closer together and for services in the surrounding of the CT scanner. These slack times do not affect the number of examinations per day.
