Abstract: This article discusses the upcoming sixth-generation wireless technology, 6G, which will attempt to improve upon the current 5G with faster networks, faster and larger data transfers, and the ability to connect to an increased number of devices and data sources. The technology required to support 6G is being discussed and developed by both the technology industry and governments including the U.S. and China.
