Abstract: This article looks at future research into computer science with an emphasis on preventing further climate change. The author details how future computer technology, both hardware and software, should have limits in place to minimize environmental impact. As well, the existing digital world needs to be evaluated and potentially modified significantly if there is proof it is negatively impacting the environment.
