| Abstract: | The article presents information on semiconductor factory control and optimization. The integrated circuit (IC) is the fundamental building block of modem electronics and is one of the most significant developments in technology of the twentieth century. Factory control in breadth is controlling all the factors in the wafer fab that have an impact on or may cause variation in the product characteristics. These sources are the "whats" that should be controlled in order to reduce product variability and to eliminate disruptions of product flow. |
