Abstract: The article highlights various recognitions, transitions, and obituaries in the water industry. Houston Flippin, vice president of Brown and Caldwell, received the W. Wesley Eckenfelder Industrial Water Quality Lifetime Achievement Award from the Water Environment Federation. Cathy Green and Ernesto Avila were elected as president and vice president, respectively, of the Association of California Water Agencies. Harvey Ryan was elected to the Association of California Water Agencies' Region 9 board. Additionally, several individuals were recognized posthumously for their contributions to the water industry.
