| Abstract: | Abstract: We adopt immune algorithm (IA) to the 3-D arrangement problem of fictitious charges and contour points in charge simulation method for two spherical electrodes that are placed asymmetrically. In this research, the arrangement of fictitious charges and contour points that belong to electrodes are described as a bit-stream. First, the arrangement is given randomly. Then, it is automatically adjusted by using IA in order to improve the accuracy of the electrode surface potential. The best (minimum) value of the obtained maximum relative errors of the electrode surface potential is about 0.2%. The error less than 2% can be obtained with about 50% probability by using IA optimization. [Copyright &y& Elsevier] |
