Abstract: This paper deals with a LabView instrument we made for dimensioning a toroidal transformer that is usually used with low primary voltage and two secondary voltages. This virtual instrument is meant to ease the calculation process of such a transformer by inputting the design data and obtaining the dimensions of the constructive elements and the electrical quantities. Such a tool can be used both in design and in didactic activities, allowing to easily modify the input values for study or to find an optimal option as well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
