Abstract: The KNNT-7BZ+8Mn ceramics sintered in reducing atmosphere with large piezoelectric strain, high temperature stability and good bipolar strain symmetry are prepared successfully via designing internal bias field (E i). With increasing re-oxidation time (t a) from 4h to 6h, oxygen vacancy (V o · · ) concentration decreases, weakening domain pinning effect. E i created by defect polarization (P d) can be enhanced by constructing weak binding defects (Mn Nb ′), which enhances spontaneous polarization (P S) stretching. Piezoelectric strain of ceramics annealed at t a = 5h can be increased by synergistic effect between weakening of domain pinning effect and enhancement of P S stretching. E i of suitable strength created by reducing the concentration of V o · · can improve bipolar strain symmetry of KNNT-7BZ+8Mn ceramics. Improving temperature stability from 83 °C at t a = 4h to 130 °C at t a = 6h for KNNT-7BZ+8Mn ceramics is attributing to the stable E i. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
