Abstract: The practical exponential stability of switched generalized homogeneous positive nonlinear systems with bounded disturbances is investigated in this paper. Different from the existing results, the concept of generalized homogeneity is employed to study is employed to study switched homogeneous positive nonlinear systems, which promotes the analysis and application of relevant theories. By utilizing the improved max-separable Lyapunov function, more relaxed conditions for exponential stability are obtained for switched generalized homogeneous positive nonlinear systems in continuous and discrete time without disturbances. Their practical exponential stability with disturbances is achieved in both time domains. The validity of the results in this paper is demonstrated through three examples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
