Abstract: Reversible data hiding in encrypted images (RDHEI) is an effective technique of data security, and high-capacity issue in RDHEI has attracted increasing attention in recent years. To prevent these attacks, a novel RDHEI method based on block rotation will be proposed in this paper. The major contribution of the proposed scheme is, from the sender view, the encrypted image is divided into blocks by defining threshold values, with the hidden secret message represented by the angle of rotation and then the stego encrypted image is generated. When the receiver receives the stego encrypted image, he can not only to extract the secret message and the original image by using data hiding key and decryption key, respectively, but also without transmission of auxiliary information through a third-party channel. Finally, according to our experimental results, both recovery and capacity shown that our proposed scheme has significantly improved compared than the previous works. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
