Abstract: This study examines the impact of magnetic flux on coherence and stochastic resonance in van der Pol oscillators coupled to white noise and a periodic drive. Results reveal that magnetic flux and noise modulate the correlation and the mean first passage time to the stable state from another, reducing autocorrelation amplitude, correlation spectral density, and inducing a change in the signal-to-noise ratio. These findings highlight magnetic flux in shaping autocorrelation and signal-to-noise dynamics. Stochastic resonance is not observed for the initial condition on the third stable attractor. Thus, magnetic flux essentially changes autocorrelation and the signal-to-noise ratio. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
