Abstract: Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a severe, potentially fatal heart disease that affects millions of people worldwide. While numerous medications are available for therapy, obtaining accurate and reliable data regarding these treatments is challenging. Moreover, existing drug databases do not offer detailed information, particularly focusing on HCM drugs. The information about HCM is often scattered across various sources, making it difficult for healthcare professionals to understand and utilize it for therapeutic research. A single generic drug can have multiple brand names worldwide; it is difficult to remember and search for them. A comprehensive web-based database of drugs, HCMdrugs, has been developed to address this problem. The database offers extensive information about 73 drugs available to treat HCM, such as their mechanism of action, interactions, brand names and published literature. HCMdrugs is an excellent resource for healthcare professionals, medical students, patients and researchers with a simple layout, extensive search options, and a dedicated blog page. The database has the potential to improve patient outcomes and drug understanding. The launch of HCMdrugs marks a key step toward creating a complete online database for HCM therapy and a bigger healthcare management initiative. HCMdrugs is a dedicated web-based database that catalogs drugs associated with the treatment of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), integrating information from diverse sources for enhanced accessibility and analysis. The platform provides drug classifications, molecular details, therapeutic mechanisms, and gene-drug associations to facilitate translational and clinical research. This centralized resource aims to accelerate drug discovery, repurposing, and data-driven decision-making in HCM management. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
