Abstract: This study investigates the impact of information overload in business administration, a challenge that arises when the volume of information surpasses an individual's processing capacity. This imbalance disrupts productivity, hinders decision-making, and stifles innovation. Focusing on industries such as retail, information technology (IT), human resources (HR), marketing, and finance, the research highlights how excessive data impairs creativity and reduces competitiveness. It explores practical solutions, including the adoption of advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and structured communication protocols to streamline information flow. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of fostering a knowledge-sharing culture and continuous learning to enhance cognitive resilience. Time management strategies and mindfulness practices are also advocated to promote a balanced and stress-free work environment.
