Abstract: In microservice architectures, reducing latency, managing distributed caching, and optimizing overall performance are key challenges. This article presents a distributed caching solution with automatic invalidation and consistent hashing to improve latency in microservices. Our approach uses Redis instances organized by Docker Compose, ensuring high availability without a single point of failure. Cache invalidation combines a TTL based strategy with event-based invalidation via Kafka, ensuring real-time data consistency. The implementation of consistent hashing enhances key distribution and minimizes reallocations topology changes. Experimental results demonstrate a high reduction in both latency and database overload. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
