This paper introduces a novel two‐step method for designing a dynamic event‐triggered interval observer for continuous‐time cyber‐physical systems under disturbances. In the first step, a dynamic event‐triggered approach is employed for observer design, and sufficient conditions are given by a linear matrix inequality. The dynamic event‐triggered mechanism reduces the utilization of computational and communication resources in the cyber‐physical systems. In the second step, a type of symmetric set‐integration approach is applied to the design of the interval observer. The proposed approach not only reduces the conservatism of the observer design but also improves the estimation accuracy. Meanwhile, Zeno behavior is avoided. Finally, both the efficiency and applicability of the interval observer are validated through a circuit simulation experiment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
