Abstract: Engineering Education 5.0 is a new-educational paradigm that transcen(is the development and application of technology, as it also considers ethical issues. Key features that characterize the paradigm are included: collaboration and knowledge sharing, involving international experiences, project-based learning activities. multidisciplinary and technology supported learning-teaching methods. The European project International Cooperation Framework for Next Generation Engineering Students (NextGEng) shares these features to develop a framework for international cooperation in education. As part of this project, new pedagogical methods together with tailored learning materials for existing courses in the curricula are created, aligned with the principles of this new paradigm. This paper presents the co-teaching program developed within the Industrial Automation course as part of the NextGEng project. The methodology involved forming co-teaching teams with teachers from three universities and expert from three companies. Findings indicate positive evaluations from participants, especially concerning the knowledge and skills gained during laboratory sessions. The results demonstrate the potential of international co-teaching and the Engineering Education 5.0 paradigm in enhancing engineering education. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
