| Abstract: | Radar jamming is designed to be various spoofing methods for radar systems by producing the barrage noise from the fake target data that can be either electronic or mechanical. The significant challenge in radar jamming is the presence of inaccurate position of radar that allows numerous fake targets into the position window of the Constant False Alarm Ratio (CFAR) detector. Hence, the core concept of this paper is to introduce a novel adaptive cooperative jamming technique for pulse compression radar to enlarge the problem of false targets with a CFAR detector. Here, the performance improvement is accomplished in the cooperative jamming method by optimising the number and position of the jammer using the hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm named Sail Fish-Dragonfly Algorithm (SF-DA).The transmission powerof radar, radar antenna transmission, reception gains, radar signal wavelength, and pulse compression ratio were considered jammer parameters in this work. It is used for improving cooperative jamming. The core concept of optimising these parameters is to enlarge the false alarm probability. For effective performance analysis, the pulse compression radar is employed. Thus, it helps to enhance resolution of target detection in an effective manner. Finally, the analysis result reveals that the proposed adaptive jamming method offers effective performance in terms of minimising the recognition rate of radar while comparing it with other existing jamming techniques.
