Abstract: IUPAC has launched a new set of Guiding Principles of Responsible Chemistry (GPs), marking an important milestone in its mission to promote ethical, inclusive, and sustainable science worldwide. These eight principles, created by a project task group under the leadership of the Committee on Ethics, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (CEDEI), provide a shared framework to guide chemists, educators, students, and organizations toward responsible innovation and practice.
