| Abstract: | In this paper, we consider a swelling porous-elastic system subject to the effect of boundary frictional dampings with time-dependent coefficients. We use the multiplier method to establish explicit formulae for the energy decay rates, from which the usual exponential and polynomial estimates are only special cases.
