| Abstract: | The purpose of this article is to find some partially invariant solutions for the Navier-Stokes equations. These solutions are more difficult to find because the analysis of their compatibility is more complicated. The main problem is finding partially invariant solutions consists in studying the compatibility of a system of differential equations, which is obtained by substituting partially invariant solutions into the system of equations. Transformations from Cartesian coordinate systems to special coordinate systems are presented, and some partially invariant solutions are also found. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
