Abstract: The article focuses on corrections related to scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and scale bars in two separate studies on hexaferrites doped with rare-earth elements. It clarifies that an unintentional duplication of an SEM image occurred between a "Materials Chemistry and Physics" article studying Sr0.5Ba0.5TmxTbxFe12−2xO19 and a "Nanomaterials" article examining Sr0.5Ba0.5TmxSmxFe12−2xO19, which involve similar but distinct compositions and synthesis conditions. The corrections include replacing the duplicated image and updating scale bars, with no impact on the scientific conclusions or grain size interpretations in the "Nanomaterials" article. The authors emphasize that direct comparisons of grain size and other properties between the two studies are inappropriate due to differences in dopants and synthesis methods.
