| Abstract: | Web of Science (WoS), developed by Clarivate Analytics, is one of the most important bibliographic platforms for discovering, evaluating and monitoring scientific production globally. This article analyzes the database architecture, the operating principles of advanced search, query optimization strategies and scientometric indicators used to evaluate results.
