| Abstract: | We present the results of estimates for the average transverse energy density in the central rapidity region for mesons (1020) and hyperons , obtained from our analysis of available data on identified particle spectra in the most central Au Au and Pb Pb collisions within the energy range GeV– TeV. The strange particle density at midrapidity was taken from the published data. The missing information on the mean , required for the transverse mass calculation, was obtained in this work by integrating the relevant spectra and using two types of approximation functions (Levi and Blast wave). It is found that the dependencies of on for mesons and hyperons are well approximated by power-law functions, with similar values of exponents that agree within statistical uncertainties. Accordingly, the ratios of for mesons and hyperons exhibit no dependence on across a wide range of nucleus–nucleus collision energies. We discuss the possible interpretations of these results within two models: (i) the generalized Multipomeron Exchange Model and (ii) Statistical Hadron Gas Model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
