Abstract: Antibiotics are widely used in human and veterinary medicine; therefore, the development of approaches to their monitoring in natural environments is of considerable current importance. The potential of using magnetic nanoparticles with a polydopamine coating for the sorption of fluoroquinolones and tetracyclines from aqueous media has been demonstrated. Procedures for off-line preconcentration and combined on-line preconcentration of analytes using capillary zone electrophoresis with UV detection were proposed. Metrological characteristics were determined and the procedures were tested on real-world samples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
