Abstract: In this study, we examine domain decomposition methods for coupled viscous incompressible Stokes problems under a Signorini-type interface condition. We establish a well-posedness theory for the associated variational inequality. We propose four domain decomposition algorithms: the Signorini–Dirichlet decomposition algorithm, the Unilateral-Uzawa–Dirichlet decomposition algorithm, the Active/Inactive set Dirichlet-type decomposition algorithm, and the Active/Inactive set Robin-type decomposition algorithm. We conduct convergence analysis and numerical experiments on the above algorithms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
