| Abstract: | In 2018, M. M. K. Rao extended the existing frameworks of fuzzy sets, bipolar fuzzy sets, and intuitionistic fuzzy sets by introducing a more generalized notion of tripolar fuzzy sets. This new structure allows the simultaneous consideration of three distinct membership functions, which provides a richer and more flexible mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty and dual or multi-polar information. In this article, the authors discussed tripolar fuzzy quasi-ideals in semigroups. Furthermore, we established characterization theorems that describe regular and intra-regular semigroups in terms of tripolar fuzzy quasi-ideals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
