| Abstract: |
The increasing number of video creators and enthusiasts on internet platforms has drawn significant attention to video steganography. Traditional single-domain steganographic methods are constrained by the limited availability of embedding carriers, leading to performance bottlenecks. In order to achieve a better balance between security and capacity, we propose a multi-domain video steganography algorithm that operates within the HEVC framework, specifically targeting predictive (P) frames. The method exploits both prediction unit (PU) partitioning modes and the indices of motion vector (MV) for data embedding. By analyzing the relationship between motion vector (MV) characteristics and PU partitioning structures, a rational embedding criterion is proposed. Subsequently, a joint minimization function is formulated to guide the embedding process, which is implemented using Syndrome Trellis codes (STCs). Experiments demonstrate that the proposed algorithm increases embedding capacity while ensuring video quality and security. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
