Abstract: This correction notice addresses errors in a previously published article on startup shares among businesses in Germany. Specifically, it corrects the legend of Figure 4, changing the startup share range from "0.12%–0.23%" to "12%–23%," and adds a missing year in Appendix A, clarifying that data sources cover the period from 2017 to 2021. The corrected figure presents the startup share from 2016 to 2020 for companies with greater economic importance based on official German statistical data. The original article has been updated accordingly. [Extracted from the article]
