Abstract: The article addresses concerns raised about the peer-review process of a previously published paper, leading to an Editorial Board investigation. While the overall peer-review complied with MDPI's editorial policies, one of the four reviewers did not meet MDPI's Reviewer Guidelines or the Editorial Board's expectations, resulting in the removal of that reviewer's contribution from the open peer-review record. Consequently, a reference suggested by this reviewer was also removed from the article, with adjustments made to the reference order. The authors affirm that these changes do not affect the scientific conclusions, and the correction was approved by the Academic Editor. [Extracted from the article]
