Abstract: This correction notice addresses multiple errors in the article "Optimization of Finite Element Mesh for Residual Stress Measurement Using Contour Method," including incorrect directional references for deformation data, typographical errors replacing "convectional" with "conventional," mislabeled figure axes, and an institutional postal code mistake. It clarifies that the finite element (FE) mesh model discussed contains fewer nodes and elements than the conventional model, improving computational efficiency, and corrects labels in stress distribution figures without affecting the study’s conclusions. Additionally, an author's name in the references was corrected. The publisher affirms neutrality regarding jurisdictional claims. [Extracted from the article]
