| Abstract: | This research proposes a novel scheme for securing voice communication through a chaotic map-based encryption method. The proposed system records speech input and encrypts the audio data using a combination of chaotic signals generated by a logistic map, a sine map, and a hybrid chaotic map. Once the encrypted signal is received, it is decrypted using the same chaotic signals to ensure confidentiality and integrity. System performance was evaluated using multiple indices, including the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), mean squared error (MSE), peak SNR (PSNR), bit error rate (BER), entropy, and structural similarity index measure (SSIM). The experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the encryption scheme in preserving speech quality while providing strong resistance against unauthorized access. The encryption-decryption mechanism is efficient and requires low computational overhead, making it suitable for real-time applications. The proposed method offers a promising approach to enhancing secure voice communication in domains such as telecommunications, military operations, and secure voice messaging.
