| Abstract: | The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure has intensified attention and public scrutiny on the energy consumption of data centers. However, energy only represents one dimension of the environmental impact of digital infrastructure. Water use is emerging as a critical factor in determining sustainability, site selection and ultimately construction of AI data centers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
