| Abstract: | The effect of interference of weakly divergent acoustic beams in a refractive oceanic waveguide invariable with range is investigated numerically using mode theory and the geometrical acoustic approximation. Using the example of an underwater sound channel typical of summer propagation conditions in the Northwest Pacific Ocean, it is shown that interference of a certain number of weakly divergent beams in the spatiotemporal distribution of the acoustic field of pulsed signals leads to the formation of a very complex wave-front structure. In the dependence of the propagation time on the reception depth at a fixed distance, this structure is characterized in the ray approximation by a system of corresponding intersecting lines.
