Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the estimation of matrix numerical characteristics. We derive two upper bounds for the sum of the moduli of matrix eigenvalues. Meanwhile, we show estimations for the matrix spread. New bounds for the eigenvalue modulus, determinant, rank, as well as the real and imaginary parts of matrix eigenvalues are given. Furthermore, we propose four criteria for determining whether a matrix is non-singular. Finally, four numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
